HI, I'M STEFANIE
I am the owner of Action First Accounting. I have been a Las Vegas local for over 15 years by way of Seattle, and this will be my forever home. I got into the accounting industry because I love that I can work independently and remotely, giving me more time with my family and the freedom to work from anywhere (mostly just out of my home office these days). I love to travel, and in my free time you can catch me either spending time with my family or at a yoga class.
I worked for over 20 years in the hospitality industry both on and off the strip, and in that time my love for numbers grew. I learned from some of the best in the business on how to save money and grow top line revenues, as well as learning how to interpret the financial story of a business through their balance sheets and profit and loss statements. That set of skills has made me a better bookkeeper, a more insightful business owner, and passionate business consultant.
ABOUT ME
After getting my degree in accounting I worked with both major bookkeeping firms as well as CPAs, and learned from there on how to migrate data into and out of Quickbooks Online and Quickbooks Desktop. So even if you are not already in Quickbooks, I can get you there. Whether you have shoebox full of receipts or existing organized financials, I can pull everything together into legible and easy to read books. I pride myself on being on the judgement-free side of accounting, because I know firsthand how intimidating all of it can be. I like to make things easy to understand and offer insight on areas of improvement. Your success is my success, and I love watching people flourish because of the work I do.
